Arani qualified as a Solicitor in 2001, having read Law at Queen Mary, University of London. She is a civil litigator and has specialised in claimant medical negligence to include life-changing adult and paediatric brain and spinal cord injuries, most recently in the London office of a leading national firm. She is a proud committee member of West London Law Society and currently holds the post of Vice-President.
Currently on sabbatical, she is using the time to develop her passion of writing as well as mentoring for both her alma mater University and The Law Society, through their Diversity Access Scheme. She has also recently completed a 6 month post as an Advice and Information volunteer at the human rights organisation Liberty. She is a keen supporter of the arts in all forms with a special interest in the theatre.
