James is a solicitor who practises in the areas of crime, personal injury, employment and general civil litigation. He works for Lansbury Worthington Solicitors who he has been with since 2010, qualifying as a solicitor in 2013. Upon qualification James had already been awarded his higher rights in criminal work so he was able to practice immediately in the Crown Court.
He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Hertfordshire and completed his Legal Practice Course at what was then the College of Law in Bloomsbury, London.
James has been Honorary Secretary of the West London Law Society since Spring 2015 and deals with all minutes and correspondence. He is keen to promote the legal profession and make it available to all. James devotes some of his spare time to being a mentor for students at London Metropolitan University which he has done since 2014. He has also given talks to LPC students at the University of Hertfordshire on the life of a solicitor in practice and the challenges in securing training contracts.
He is a keen cricketer and plays whenever he can in his spare time. He also supports Northampton Town Football Club and enjoys watching them play whenever he has the opportunity.
